Sir Tom Jones voice was strong as ever. And we loved hearing background stories on some of his. Favorite songs. 2 hours flew by. Sir Tom is truly a living legend!

TOM JONES AT THE SF MASONIC
Loved Tom Jones last night, his last concert on his 2022 tour. He was funny and sad and thoughtful. Yes, he’s 82 and walks with a cane, but charming and open about it all. His play list varied from popular oldies and his newer material. The audience was with him the entire evening. I admire him for not being stuck with his old tunes, and for his still amazing voice. He covers great songs by Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, and doesn’t shy away from current material, such as his very current song about reality TV. He says he’ll be back, with a twinkle in his eye, and better than ever with a new hip. I hope so, and I plan to be there with him!

AMAZING ATOMIC JONES
Amazing legend, who gave 100% to Jax last night.. His voice only improved as the night went on. You could see the energy building up in him as he absorbed it from the audience. He’s a true artist with versatility unmatched. For those on this post critical of his concert(s), you either need hearing aids, or personality transplants. Tom Jones’ jacksonville Fl concert last night was pure genius and beyond worth the money!

TOM JONES MASSEY HALL SEPT 19/22
Tom Jones voice has not aged and he performed a variety of songs.
One disappointment that stung deeply was that he did not sing SHE'S A LADY.
Why would he leave out such a classic?? I even remained standing, cheering for an encore, but sadly, he and his entire group of musicians walked off not listening to our request. He sang other artist's recordings, but I wanted so much to hear that beautiful pop classic!

TOM JONES CONCERT
What a beautiful and amazing voice he has, but not to sing all of his songs that we all know and love was disappointing. Adding new songs or songs that he likes is great, but please don’t forget the ones that we all know and love.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE TOM JONES I REMEMBER?
Went to the June 1st show which had been was actually scheduled for back in December
2017. That part I can understand. I know he has personal things going on as do we all.
Purchased parking 'adjacent ' to theater which happened to be several blocks away.
Opening act @ 8 sharp, a couple of Welsh 'boy's entertained for 30 minutes. Mr. Jones had
met them on some kind of UK talent show. Ended @ 8:30. Then, 40 minutes later Tom Jones
decided to start his act. Nothing like sitting, waiting for more than a half hour in crowded
warm theater! Thankfully the theater hasn't adapted airline seat spacing (yet) so one could
stand in place. Relief!
Two things about his performance: of the dozens of top records he's made during his career,
I recognized 4. Now he could have populated his show with just his hits but, no, he went
through a bunch of second rate material. Not much spark left there, unfortunately.
Lastly, these high intensity spotlights would pan the audience. What for? Blinding.

BEACON THEATER LAST NIGHT…
Still has a great voice but his setlist is terrible…No She’s A Lady, I’m Never Gonna Fall In Love Again, Without love, Love Me Tonight, Help Yourself…Instead does insipid covers by Cat Stevens, Willie Nelson, Tina Turner, Bob Dylan, Chuck Berry, etc. An absolute disregard for his audience…
